In person coaching
STRENGTH TRAINING
When it comes to strength training this is hugely beneficial for overall health and also preventative when it comes to sustaining injuries and other health risks. However, when you are new to the gym equipment can be overwhelming and intimidating.
One of the biggest problems people face is not knowing where to start and then doing the same thing every time they exercise. This quickly leads to stagnant performance and lack of results you can be proud of.
Starting your journey with some in person training will give you invaluable experience and knowledge on how to exercise safely and use various equipment. You certainly won’t be bored with my personalized plans. The experience you gain will last a lifetime.
ADDRESSING PAIN
Often we deal with various types of pain. Whether it is lower back, knee pain or shoulder pain this can inhibit our movement and cause discomfort in our day to day life. Throughout our lives we pick up small injuries and develop patterns whether it be from work or major/minor injuries that occured all the way from months up to decades ago leading to impaired function of the body.
My Approach to training aims at assessing the individual's movement and identify where joints or muscles are not moving in the way in which we intend. Following the assessment, training focuses on getting mobility and strength back into the body which brings back proper function and reduces pain.
WORKOUT WITH A PURPOSE
Lots of us exercise and work out because we want to look and feel better. However, sometimes our progress stagnates and we want that extra edge to keep progressing and get the results we desire. In person personal training will allow you to develop new skills while pushing your body to the next level. Often despite thinking we are performing a movement correctly, this is not the case. An extra set of eyes combined with professional expertise will fast track your fitness journey. As a coach, I will address those minute details which will actually make your workouts worth while.
Having an in person coach addresses the minute details which improves workouts. Increased efficiency and technique makes small differences over time which multiply to get great results. This in combination with proper programing and lifestyle coaching pushes the needle forward delivers our goals
REMOTE COACHING
Remote coaching is an alternative to those who can’t train in person with a coach.
ACCOUNTABILITY
Accountability is a huge benefit when it comes to remote coaching. Having a coach in your pocket ensures that you are hitting all the important targets when it comes to achieving your goals. Each person is different, for some it’s just about being held accountable and having a workout routine for the gym while others need help with nutrition and other lifestyle factors.
CONSISTENCY
Programming is key to achieving results and to keep improving overtime. Getting bored of your routine or not knowing which exercises to use or progress on is a certain way to stagnate progress. With remote coaching programming is assessed weekly and changes are made where needed to provide the right skills and stimulus to achieve results.
TECHNIQUE
Technique coaching is extremely important when we want to learn a new movement or improve our form. My remote coaching allows for movement assessment, ensuring that exercises are being performed correctly. Clients are sent video demonstrations so they can see the right positioning and cues in order to perform the movement proficiently.
Remote coaching is delivered through a fitness app and weekly check-ins to assess your progress. Then we can make the necessary changes or alterations needed to ensure that challenges and obstacles are overcome.
GUT HEALTH COACHING
Gut health is becoming an increasingly important topic as more recent science is proving the link between the brain and the microbiome in the gut. Many people suffer from discomfort in the gut and have various IBS-like symptoms which are extremely debilitating day to day. Often is the case where clients have already seen medical professionals and not received a medical diagnosis or a solution. Often this is due to issues with the health of our guts and digestive systems.
Gut health coaching aims to help people improve and reduce symptoms through coaching and support. When it comes to achieving results techniques vary from alterations to diet, supplementation or lifestyle changes which benefit the gut and digestive system.
